Soft-Ball Cricket Match
World Cup Fever is in the air! I am an ex-club cricketer, and I'm trying to organize a friendly cricket match on or around the weekend of April 27th. So far, we have three recruits (including myself), but two teams of 10 would be ideal. This game can be a family pot luck, but more input is needed. Things we have: Rubber (weighted) balls. Much easier to do sixes with. (Possibly) 1 cricket bat Things we need: Teammates Field (Possibly UBC. Open to other suggestions. Somewhere on the lower mainland.) Wickets More bats would be nice. Cones, or some way of clarifying a boundary If you can provide any of the necessities needed, it's an added bonus. Please send me an email if you are interested, with an adequate grade of your skills. Somewhere between 1 and 5. It will make it easier to balance the teams that way.
